Jimi Hendrix’s epic performance at the 1969 Woodstock festival will arrive in theaters around the world as a film titled Hendrix 70: Live at Woodstock, beginning the day before the 70th anniversary of his birth on November 27th.

In a set that began at 9 am, Jimi and the Band of Gypsys played 14 songs, including "Voodoo Chile," "Fire," "Purple Haze," "Foxy Lady" and, of course, "The Star Spangled Banner." Interspersed with the live footage are new interviews with bassist Billy Cox, drummer Mitch Mitchell, engineer Eddie Kramer and Woodstock promoter Michael Lang.
