Pit bulls have a bad reputation.  Some landlords won't allow tenants to have them, people move away when they see a pit being walked down the street--frankly, the breed has been discriminated against.  I believe it's because of bad owners who have taught the dogs to be agressive, NOT because it is the nature of the dog. 

Some of THE SWEETEST dogs I know are pits.  I came across the story of Baby, the pit who rescued her family from a fire, and just HAD to share it. 

Yay for Baby--for proving 'em wrong!!!
