The USDA (US Dept. of Agriculture) has launched the Food Stamp Program. This is one of the most popular government program that helps 26 million Americans each month.

Successful applicant will get an EBT (Electronic Bank Transfer) card which would allow you to purchase goods at accredited grocery store. Your spending limit will be based on your status. Those families with very-low income may get a higher spending limit more or less $500 per month. Some may get $250. CLICK HERE

Hospice
The holidays are a time of joy, but many people deal with depression and sadness during what's supposed to be a happy time. The holiday season comes with a sense of dread for those still dealing with the death of a loved one.

Hernando-Pasco Hospice is holding a series of workshops aimed at helping people cope with holiday grief. The workshops, led by hospice bereavement counselors, cover topics such as how best to care for yourself mentally and physically during this stressful time of year and coping with memories and traditions.
