PALM HARBOR, Fla. (970 WFLA) – Pinellas County detectives say they need the public's help in finding a robbery suspect who they say stole medication from a Palm Harbor pharmacy customer.
Deputies say it happened Tuesday, April 8, 2014 just before 2:30pm in front of the Trust Pharmacy located at 36515 U.S. Highway 19 North.
According to detectives, the suspect was observed to be on the sidewalk, pacing back and forth waiting for the victim to leave the pharmacy and as the victim exited the pharmacy, the suspect grabbed the victim by her throat, threw her to the ground and made threatening statements towards her. Deputies say the suspect then took the victim's medication before leaving the area on foot.
Authorities say the suspect is described as a white male, approximately 40 years of age with white hair and was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt with white lettering, plaid shorts, tennis shoes, glasses and possibly has a tattoo on his calf.
